TULSA - A brand new park opens Friday in Tulsa's Brady District.

The George Kaiser Family Foundation is holding an opening ceremony for Guthrie Green, located at 111 E. Brady St.

Guthrie Green is in the heart of Tulsa's Brady Arts District.

A host of speakers are scheduled to attend Friday's ceremony, including Mayor Dewey Bartlett, Executive Director of GKFF Ken Levit.  Entertainment slated for the ceremony includes the Tulsa Playboys, Brave Combo and Salsabor.

The park features an outdoor theater, fountains and a restaurant, Lucky's on the Green.

The ceremony is 3 to 4 p.m. but activities and entertainment are scheduled throughout the weekend.
