JENKS, Okla. - Funeral services are set for Monday to remember a Jenks police officer.
The city held an honor procession Sunday for Officer Juan Legaretta, who died last week in Oklahoma City while applying for a job with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Narcotics.
Legaretta joined the Jenks Police Department a year ago.
The 27-year-old was also a war veteran.
Legaretta served overseas in Iraq.
Monday's funeral service is set for 10 a.m. at Saint Benedict's Church in Broken Arrow.
