TULSA - Dollar Thrifty has been officially sold.
The Federal Trade Commission approved Hertz's takeover of the Tulsa-based company Thursday.
In August, Hertz offered to buy the company for $2.3 billion after a 2-year pursuit of the car rental group.
Dollar Thrifty has nearly 800 employees in Tulsa. No word yet on what's going to happen to those workers.
