TULSA - The Free Tulsa Music Festival returns Friday for its third year.

About 200 bands will take the stage for the two-night event in the Blue Dome District.

Many of the performers come from all around the Sooner state.

Last year, about 10,000 people attended the festival and founder Marc Matheos tells 2NEWS that he hopes to see that number grow.

"For one weekend, we've got the best of all the Indie rock bands in Oklahoma in one area. They're all right here," he said. "This is the weekend to come out and check them out."

There will be two outdoor stages and about 15 more in Blue Dome District bars and restaurants.

The festival will run from 6 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. both Friday and Saturday.
