TULSA - One man is in jail after a short chase with police through a South Tulsa apartment complex.

Police were watching for potential car burglars near 73rd Street and South Mingo Road around 12:30 a.m. Monday when they spotted a parked vehicle with four people inside.

Police say the driver took off but hit a couple of parked cars.  The four occupants tried to escape on foot, but officers were able to catch them with help from the police helicopter.

Police arrested 18-year-old Damian Harris for running from police, hit-and-run and possession of marijuana.

The other three suspects were juveniles who were cited and released to their parents.

Police are not sure what they were doing at the apartments, since none of the four lived there.
