TULSA - Former President George W. Bush is expected to take the stage Thursday night as the featured speaker at a dinner in Tulsa.
Bush is attending the 2013 Liberty Gala, hosted by the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs, a conservative think tank based in Oklahoma City.
Past gala speakers include former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Gen. Tommy Franks and former House Speaker and recent presidential candidate Newt Gingerich.
The private event is closed to the media.
