MUSKOGEE COUNTY, Okla. - A former Boynton firefighter who admitted to starting a number of grass fires last month has been formally charged with arson.
Dustin Davis, 25, was charged with one count of third-degree arson Tuesday afternoon. Davis told investigators last week he lit seven Boynton fires on July 29 in order to fight them with his co-workers.
Davis, who was jailed around 12:30 in Muskogee County, was released shortly after on $5,000 bond.
