TULSA - Friday and Saturday nights are movie nights.
The Admiral Twin Drive-In opens its gates early for the 2013 season Friday with two double features playing on the big screens.
Catch " Jack the Giant Slayer" and "Beautiful Creatures" or "Safe Haven" and "Warm Bodies."
This is the earliest the drive-in has opened in more than 20 years.
"The sooner I get open, the sooner people know we're open and the sooner we start making money," said co-owner Blake Smith.
A fire in September 2010 closed the drive-in and many wondered if it was lost for good, but thanks to donors, last June the Admiral Twin reopened to the public after being closed for a year.
This will be the first full season for the Admiral Twin since the fire.
Smith tells 2NEWS that digital projectors will be installed before the May 3, release date of Ironman 3.
"I think this will be a great year," he said.
