The Jenks Riverwalk already attracts hundreds of people every weekend and a new project there is expected to attract even more.
Phase 2 is complete and ready for leasing. The first large tenant has moved into the new site and is officially open for business.
Craig Boilla is co-owner of McDermott's Grille, the first large business to open at the Jenks Riverwalk phase 2.

"They can come out for a very fine dinner and I might say that everyone who has tried the food loves it. They can also stick around for live music. They can play a little pool. They can do darts. We have 2 championship shuffle boards so it's really some place you can come and not have to travel around the city to do what you would like to do and just stay right here," McDermott said.

Phase 2 of the Jenks Riverwalk cost the property owners about $13-million dollars.
Available spaces include smaller office type spaces to large bar type spaces. Developers say an upcoming large country bar will soon move in.

"Its just a nice area to have something different to look at besides street. Haha," said Sara Walters, visitor from Bixby.

Construction on phase 2 began about 2 years ago.
The Riverwalk owners have purchased another 66 acres just north of the other properties.
They hope to develop on that land in the future as well.
