TULSA - Tulsa firefighters are investigating a north Tulsa house fire Friday where one person was rescued.
Firefighters got the call just before 5:15 a.m. about a home north of Highway 244 near 57 N. Yorktown Ave.
Early reports indicated someone was trapped inside.
An elderly woman was pulled from a fire at her north Tulsa home and transported to a local hospital Friday morning. She was unconscious when firefighters found her.
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital where she is currently listed in critical condition.
Firefighters say the roof of the home collapsed and a dog did not survive.
The cause has not been determined.
