TULSA - A Thursday morning house fire near 41st Street and South Lewis is under investigation.
Firefighters responded to the call of a possible explosion inside the home just before 5 a.m. after neighbors described hearing a loud boom.
Brian Soles was in the bathroom, believed to be the explosion's origin, at the time of the blast. He was taken for treatment after suffering first- and second-degree burns. Two others were also in the home, but no other injuries were reported.
Crews managed to contain the fire to the bathroom upon arrival.
Officials on the scene said there is no indication anything illegal was taking place at the time of the explosion, but there may be cause for concern.
In 2011, Soles and another man were arrested for a meth lab fire at the same address.
No arrests have been made.
