TULSA - Tulsa police were on the scene of a deadly crash on Harvard Ave. for almost five hours Thursday night.

Officers were flagged down to a rollover accident near 53rd and Harvard around 7 p.m.

Police believe a truck hit a vehicle near 49th and Harvard, then hit a bridge abutment and then into a culvert, eventually going airborne and rolling onto its top.

The truck came to a skidding stop near 53rd and Harvard.

Sgt. Brian Carlisle with TPD said at least two or three cars were hit with flying debris from the truck rollover.

Three people were extricated out of the truck.

EMSA paramedics transported three men to a local hospital. All in their late teens or early twenties.

The driver later died at the hospital.

No names have been released pending notification to the next of kin.

Police say Harvard Ave. is closed between 51st and 54th while officers investigate.
