Tulsa, OK - A Tulsa woman has organized a Facebook page to help Oklahoma City tornado victims find some of their belongings. The page called 'May 19th 2013 OK Tornado Doc & Picture Recovery,' is drawing the attention of thousands.
Leslie Hagelberg started the page as a way to help the victims get some of their valuables back. The page had more than 5,000 likes less than 24 hours after she started it. She says more than a dozen people have found some of their pictures through the page.
Crystal Williams in south Tulsa found a picture in the mud. She used the page to trace it back to a woman in Newalla, Oklahoma. The wind carried the picture nearly 100 miles away. The woman told her she lost her home in Sunday night's storms.
Larry Peabody in Verdigris found a picture dating to 1999. He believes it was carried by the strong winds to his lawn.
Hagelberg asks that people are cautious with posting personal information such as social security numbers and bank account numbers.
