TULSA - An elderly couple was taken to a local hospital Wednesday after what appears to be a home invasion and robbery.

EMSA responded to the couple's north Tulsa residence in the 3300 block of East Virgin around 4:30 p.m.

Bob Strait, 90, and 85-year-old Nancy Strait, were found barely breathing just inside their home.

Both are in serious condition, according to EMSA.

The Strait's daughter and granddaughter last saw the couple Tuesday evening and noticed their vehicle not in the driveway Wednesday. They then noticed the couple's door had been kicked in.

Police believe the suspect stole the couple's vehicle, a 2001 reddish-orange Plymouth Breeze. The car has an Oklahoma license plate number of 402GCV.

Officers are now canvassing the neighborhood to see if anyone saw suspicious activity.

Bob is now conscious, according to police.
