TULSA - A Tulsa business held a Cut-A-Thon to benefit the Tulsa chapter of the American Cancer Society Saturday.
The Cut-A-Thon at the Elephant in the Room at 1609 S. Boston Ave. offered free hair cuts to participants, who in turn are asked to make monetary donations.
"We're thrilled to be partnering with the local chapter of the American Cancer Society to raise money for cancer prevention, therapy and research," said Justin Moore, owner and operator of the Elephant In The Room. "The Cancer Society does so much to benefit the people of Tulsa and we wanted to host the Cut-A-Thon as a way to show our appreciation for its efforts."
In addition to helping the organization, participants can register to win free EITR memberships, grooming products and grooming services.
