BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - A green country scout is working towards his Eagle Scout project called “Operation K-9.”
It focuses on building a canine agility course for the Broken Arrow Police Department.
The dogs do not have a designated area to train within the department.
This course will allow more bonding time with the handlers and the dogs.
"There will be walls for the dogs to jump over,” said Sipes. “There's going to be an obstacle course that the dog and the handler will crawl under and that'll help create a bond between the handler and the dog."
The project should be complete in about two months.
