TULSA - A traffic stop along the I-44 bridge in Tulsa ended with a crash on Brookside and an arrest early Friday morning.
Police tried to stop a vehicle near 1100 E. Skelly, but when the officer saw suspicious movement he called for backup.
The suspect took off, later crashing into a tree near 32nd and Peoria.
Police say the driver lost control of the car after losing a tire.
Both the car's occupants ran, but police later caught up with the driver, identified as Courtney Calamease.
Calamease was arrested around 1:20 a.m. for eluding police, driving without a license, hit-and-run and various other traffic offenses.
He's in jail on $16,100 bond.
