TULSA - Election day is a little more than two weeks away and the candidates for the District 1 Congressional seat tell 2NEWS that their schedules are full.
Republican Jim Bridenstine, Democrat John Olson and Independent Craig Allen, spent the weekend meeting with people across Green Country.
On Saturday, Bridenstine spoke to the Tulsa Asian-American Senior Citizens' Association.
On Sunday, Olson spoke with the Tulsa Postal Workers' Union.
They both say there is a good chance the public will see them soon.
"We have a very booked agenda," Bridenstine said of his campaign. "The reality is, we have so many things on the calendar, I don't think I could tell you everything between now and the election day."
Olson said, "I'm going to be going to as many functions as I can find. I am going to talk to as many people as I can."
Allen says he does not have any planned appearances.
"I walk up and down the street," he said. "I talk to a lot of people and shake a lot of hands."
The District 1 race is to fill John Sullivan's current seat.
Sullivan lost his bid for reelection in the May primary.
