NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Disc golf courses are known as generally friendly places but a Norman man learned that that's not always the case.
Police are searching for a man who robbed 21-year-old Ryan Milam on Saturday and menaced him with a pistol and a crowbar.
The Norman Transcript reports that Milam had withdrawn $150 in cash to pay a bill. The robber took the money and one of his mobile phones.
Police recovered the phone after Milam tracked it electronically and investigators hope to get fingerprints from it.
Authorities say a number of disc golfers have had equipment stolen recently and it turned up in pawn shops.
Investigators are searching for a suspect.
