TULSA - Volunteers came out for an annual Day of Caring on Saturday, working with the Special Kids Learning Center.
The group painted a mural on the side of the building, beautified a therapy room and livened up the facility.
"Service is actually a really big part of my life. I try to be involved in as much as possible. I really like kids and I'm in nursing school. So, just being here, being able to better the area that they spend their weeks in, I just, really makes me feel great," volunteer Catie Schmid said.
