TULSA - Investigators from the Rogers County District Attorney's office have arrested a 29-year-old Tulsa man on a warrant for soliciting sexual conduct from a minor.
Authorities say Jeffrey Adam Riggs was arrested on Friday by Rogers County DA Investigators after a joint investigation with the Verdigris Police Department with technical assistance provided by the OSBI.
Investigators say the mother of a 12-year-old girl posed online as her daughter after the girl told her that a man had tried to befriend her on Facebook.
The mother notified Verdigris police when the man tried to make arrangements to meet the girl for sex, investigators say.
The warrant says Riggs was wanted for soliciting sexual conduct or communication with a minor by use of technology.
Riggs was released on $25,000 bond.
