MCALESTER, Okla. - The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma is expanding its operations.
The Food Bank is opening a new branch in McAlester.
The new facility has the capacity to store 1,000 pounds of shelf-stable food. The supplies will serve communities in eight counties, plus 78 partner programs.
A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new location is planned for 11 a.m. at 2119 N. Main St. in McAlester.
