PONTOTOC COUNTY, Okla. - A Collinsville man was killed in an accident near Ada Tuesday evening.
It happened at 5:30 p.m. on State Highway 1 near the community of Roff, about 150 miles southwest of Tulsa in Pontotoc County.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the car Laren Hatton, of Ada, was driving crossed into oncoming traffic. She crashed head on into a pickup truck driven by 47-year-old Boyd Bolin, of Collinsville.
Both were killed.
Troopers say neither was wearing a seatbelt.
Hatton's 2-month-old son is in the hospital in stable condition.
