TULSA - The city of Tulsa announced Tuesday the upcoming closure of several lanes of Peoria Avenue in south Tulsa.
On Thursday, two lanes will be closed just south of 61st Street.
The project is expected to last 10 days while crews install a new 12-inch sanitary sewer.
Officials say traffic will be limited to one northbound lane and one southbound lane.
The sanitary sewer work is part of the project to widen 61st Street between Riverside and Peoria and the intersection of 61st and Peoria.
The $11 million project is expected to be compete in spring 2013.
