Father charged in case of naked child in dog crate due back in court

TULSA - A father accused of an extreme case of child neglect is due back in court today.
William Lewallen, 47, is scheduled to be arraigned at nine this morning on one count of child neglect.
Police say neighbors found Lewallen's four-year-old naked in this north Tulsa backyard. Inside the house they discovered an 18-month-old in a dog crate, covered in feces. Officers also found a naked three-year-old child lying next to Lewallen.
The three children are now in the custody of the department of human services.
Twenty-seven-year-old Erin Lewallen also faces one count of child neglect in this case. She’s scheduled to be arraigned next week.
