TULSA - Six more Victory Christian Center employees have been charged after allegations of sexual misconduct arose in July.

Charges were filed Monday against John Daugherty, Charica Daugherty, Anna George, Paul Willemstein and Harold Sullivan for failure to report child abuse.

At time of publication, the church's website listed John Daugherty as Victory youth pastor, Charica Daugherty his wife and assistant senior high youth pastor and George a youth department worker.

Search warrants named Sullivan as human resources director and Willemstein as youth director.

All five turned themselves into police just after 9 p.m. Within hours they were released after posting $1,500 bond each.

A sixth person, 23-year-old Israel Castillo, was charged with lewd or indecent proposal to a child and use of a computer to facilitate a sex crime Monday.

Castillo is accused of telling a 15-year-old girl "that he wanted to engage in sexual relations with her" and asked that she "photograph her breasts and send the photograph to him."

Police have been unable to locate Castillo for arrest.

Chris Denman, 20, was arrested Sept. 5 for first-degree rape, forcible sodomy, lewd molestation and use of a computer to facilitate a sex crime. Two victims, including a 13-year-old girl, have accused Denman of the crimes.

Denman pleaded not guilty last Friday.

Both Castillo and Denman were fired from Victory Christian after the accusations surfaced.

Victory Christian released a statement following his plea. In it, the church admits some employees did not follow abuse reporting procedures and have been suspended.

"On behalf of Victory Christian Center, we fully understand the gravity of these allegations and are working with law enforcement and investigating within our organization to gather all information to address this matter," the statement reads. "We are fully committed to the safety of our church family and our campus visitors, and this is not reflective of how we strive to operate."
