BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - An employee of a Tulsa County bank has admitted to taking thousands of dollars from her work.

Broken Arrow police arrested 59-year-old Joy Potter Thursday at the First National Bank in Broken Arrow amid embezzlement complaints.

An audit of Potter's cash drawer reportedly revealed more than $7,600 missing.

Police say Potter, of Talala, admitted to periodically taking the money to help pay her divorce attorney fees and other bills.

Potter faces one count of embezzlement. Her bond is set at $2,000.
