BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Authorities have canceled a Silver Alert and a Broken Arrow man has been reunited with his family.

Broken Arrow police issued a Silver Alert for 74-year-old David Kern who had been missing since 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Police say a resident noticed a vehicle driving slowly through her neighborhood around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.  When she approached the car, she found Kern inside and called police.

Officials say Kern is doing well and is happy to be back with his family.

Police say Kern is on heart medication and has been diagnosed with dementia.
