Broken Arrow lawmakers will hold a town hall meeting Nov. 5 to preview the upcoming legislative session and hear from constituents.
Republicans Sen. Nathan Dahm, Rep. Mike Ritze and Rep. David Brumbraugh will discuss issues of concern before the 2014 legislative session, as well as allow citizens to ask questions and discuss topics important to them.
“It’s extremely important to keep the public informed about the legislative process,” Dahm, R- Broken Arrow, said in a release Thursday. “But in order for us to do the best job possible, we need to listen to what the public has to say about the issues and find out what they think is best for our state. That’s why I hope everyone who is able to will make plans to join us for this town hall meeting.”
Discussion will include Obamacare and the federal website rollout.
The 2014 legislative session begins in February.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Central Park Community Center in Broken Arrow and is open to the public.
