BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Dozens enjoyed Sunday’s weather and helped raise money for local animal rescues.
“Dogtober Fest” celebrates pets of all kinds.
The event at Village Vet Animal Clinic in Broken Arrow benefits NOAH Animal Rescue and Cupid's Bridge, two rescues that help save all types of animals.
"It's been absolutely wonderful, there are several things going on this month to celebrate our animals and I think everybody should take advantage of them, bring their dogs and pets out and help support worthy causes," festival goer Karen Hunt said.
