BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - The city of Broken Arrow is asking for input from residents about a proposed trash pick-up system.
Starting Monday, the city will hold a series of public meetings to gather residents' opinions about the trash service.
Some city leaders want to convert the current twice-a-week service to a once-a-week service in an effort to reduce costs.
The first of the five meetings is at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Heritage United Methodist Church near Kenosha and 225th East Avenue.
The full meeting schedule is as follows:
Ward 1 - April 16 - Heritage United Methodist Church, 5300 E. Kenosha St.
Ward 2 - April 30 - Liberty Church, 777 S. Garnett Rd.
Ward 3 - May 8 - South Broken Arrow Library, 3600 S. Chestnut Ave.
Ward 4 - May 14 - Indian Springs Baptist Church, 7815 S. Elm Pl.
At Large - May 21 - Central on Main, 210 N. Main St.
