Blue-green algae (BGA) is making an appearance in Oklahoma lakes.

Copan Lake posted a BGA alert Friday.  You also can't go in the water at Post Oak Beach.

Lake Keystone, Tenkiller, Eufaula and Ft. Gibson also have BGA alerts posted.

Fishermen are warned to be careful and eat only moderate amounts of fish caught in BGA water.

Visitors are advised to avoid pea-green colored water, rinse themselves and pets when exposed to BGA.

While contact is discouraged, officials say campers and boaters can still enjoy activities.
