Conrad Farms near 151st and Memorial will close later this year.
Owner Vernon Conrad said he and his brother will sell the nearly 180 acres of land and their portion of the farm.

"I mean I'm glad that we can retire so I'm glad of that, but I'm kind of sad because of the employees we have will be without their jobs mainly, and then the customers," said co-owner Vernon Conrad.
According to its website, Conrad Farms was established in 1931 and grew more than 60 varieties of fruits and vegetables year round.
