SAPULPA, Okla. - Sapulpa and Sands Springs police are searching for a suspected armed robber.

Authorities say a white male approached a pharmacy counter at a Walgreens on Main Street and Taft Avenue, in Sapulpa, around 9 a.m. Tuesday and demanded drugs.

Raising his shirt, the suspect revealed what appeared to be a handgun in his waistband.

The suspect, who appeared skittish, fled without obtaining any pharmaceuticals, police say. Surveillance images show the man was wearing a flannel shirt and ball cap, and left in a silver Ford Mustang.

Authorities say it appears the same man showed up again on Thursday, at the Drug Warehouse, at 651 E. Charles Page Blvd., in Sand Springs.

Sand Springs police say the man walked in and handed over a note demanding a specific narcotic medication.

This time, clerks complied with his demands.

Police say after receiving the medication, the man left the store and possibly sped off in a black Mercury SUV.

If you recognize the man in the video, call Sapulpa police at 918-224-3862 or Sand Springs police at 918-245-8777.
