Arrest warrant issued for suspect in west Tulsa shooting

TULSA - An arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect in a fatal shooting Tuesday at a west Tulsa apartment complex.
Emil L. Barron, 32, was found dead at Parkview Terrace Apartment Complex near West 61st Street and South Union Place.
On Wednesday, the Tulsa County District Attorney's office issued an arrest warrant for 29-year-old Dwaine Ryder.
Ryder was identified as a suspect early in the investigation, says Sgt. Dave Walker.
Police believe Ryder was transient in the apartment complex.
The Eastern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force and the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force are working together to capture Ryder, who police say has several friends and acquaintances in the area capable of hiding him or transporting him out of town.
