An arrest has been made in a south Tulsa homicide.
Kris Bridges was arrested in McAlester Thursday afternoon.
Bridges was wanted for first-degree murder in the death of 24-year-old Quincy Jones.
Jones was killed in a weekend shooting at the Fairmont Terrance Apartments near 61st and Peoria.
Authorities say when officers knocked on the door of a home Bridges was located at, he fled out the back and into the woods. He was apprehended shortly thereafter, police say.
Tulsa police initially named Jamel Saafir a person of interest in Jones' death. TPD Sgt. Dave Walker says Saafir is no longer being sought.
