TULSA - A second man was arrested in connection with a house fire Thursday where a 15-month-old boy died.
Police arrested Jeffrey McBride, 47, and Charles Timothy Spencer, 60, near the 1000 block of North College Avenue around 9:00 p.m. Saturday.
Both men were charged with endeavoring to manufacture a controlled and dangerous substance, according to jail records.
While in custody, McBride admitted to making meth in the 1400 block of West Admiral Blvd. address as late as the day before a fatality fire there claimed the life of a 15-month-old boy, said Tulsa Fire Department officials in a media release.
McBride had three outstanding felony warrants, five misdemeanor warrants and investigators have been looking for him for several weeks, fire officials said.
Spencer has not been connected to the fatality fire, but a large amount of ingredients needed to manufacture methamphetamine were found at the residence where they both live, fire officials said.
On Thursday, investigators arrested 35-year-old Jacob Bell on endeavoring to manufacture a controlled substance and child endangerment complaints in connection with the fire.
Fire officials say residents reporting suspicious activity in their neighborhood are crucial and may lead to arrests.
