TULSA - Nearly 11 years ago, a plane crash in Colorado sent shockwaves reverberating through the Cowboy kingdom. 2NEWS looks back at our coverage of one of the school's darkest days.
2NEWS Anchor Russ McCaskey and Sports Director Big Al Jerkens covered the story.
Russ focused on the crash and the facts surrounding it, while Big Al handled the reaction of athletes and the OSU family.
In Russ' story, we hear from witnesses to the crash, including the dairy farmer who owned the land where the plane came down.
Big Al's coverage from Stillwater included an interview with a man who was supposed to have been on that plane for the fateful trip.
