Family and friends gather to remember two girls gunned down last year.

A vigil was held in Weleetka on Sunday for Taylor Placker and Skyla Whitaker.

Police say Skyla Whitaker and Taylor Placker were shot while walking a rural road last year.

No one has been arrested in the case.

Placker's father says everyday becomes tougher

"I can't hardly come out here because I still see my baby lying in the ditch. every time I come out here I see her," says Peter Placker

Placker's father talked about the Weleetka pastor arrested last month molestation charges.

He says the news is very disturbing and another reminder for parents to watch their children.
