TULSA - A spokesperson for the Tulsa Police Department has said that Bob Strait, the elderly man who was beaten during a home invasion in March, has died.
Strait, 90, died Friday morning. The medical examiner will determine if the injuries he sustained lead to his death.
His wife, Nancy Strait, 85, who was also beaten, died March 15 from injuries she suffered during the attack.
The Straits were found in their north Tulsa home around 4:30 p.m. March 14, brutally beaten and left for dead.
Police arrested 19-year-old Tyrone Woodfork for the murder of Nancy Strait.
Woodfork is being held in the Tulsa County Jail on complaints of first-degree murder, first-degree burglary, armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Woodfork is being held without bond.
