TULSA - Walmart shoppers in Tulsa are among the first in the nation to use new technology aimed at making the shopping experience more convenient.
The store unveiled a mobile app for iPhones Thursday called "Scan & Go."
The app allows customers to scan and bag items as they shop and later transfers the list to a self checkout register when shoppers pay.
Between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday Tulsa shoppers have a chance to try the app and answer questions.
Representatives say the mobile shopping app saves time in line, gives more privacy and tracks spending.
