TULSA - Representatives with the Tulsa State Fair say 2013 showed increases in many areas.
A spokesperson with the fair says an estimated 1,100,000 people attended the 11-day event.
Gate revenues increased 18 percent, and midway ride sales rose 20 percent. Overall concession sales increased around 17 percent.
The Junior Livestock Auction raised an excess of $450,000.00 for Oklahoma 4-H and FFA youth.
"We would like to thank all of our guests, exhibitors, partners and stakeholders who played an integral role in the success of our fair,” fair President and CEO Mark Andrus said.
