TULSA - Police are searching for the suspect in a hit-and-run accident Monday night involving a motorcycle.

Officers responded to the collision around 9 p.m. Monday.

Police say Donald Eugene Anderson, 52, was traveling south on his motorcycle in the 5300 block of North Peoria when a silver or light gray Chevrolet Camaro traveling north turned in front of the motorcycle.

Anderson was thrown from the bike onto the pavement.

EMSA transported him to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Camaro fled the scene and has not been identified.

The Camaro is described as a 2000 to 2005 model with 22-inch chrome wire wheels and gold spinners.

Witnesses described the driver was as a black male in his early 20s.

A passenger in the Camaro was described as a black male in his early 20s.

Police say the Camaro should have extensive damage to the passenger front and passenger side.
