An Oklahoma City man is missing after a crash July 4 involving multiple boats on Lake Eufaula.
A boat traveling 30 mph around 10 p.m. Thursday hit the bow of a pontoon that anchored and went airborne, landing on a second vessel that was also anchored, according to the incident report.
Gary McIninch, 55,was ejected from the pontoon.
Witnesses say the driver of the first boat asked if everyone was OK. Occupants of the second and third vessels notified him that one person was missing. The first boat left the scene while the others were looking for McIntosh.
McIninch was still missing as of Friday morning.
There were 10 people onboard the pontoon, including McIninch. A 6-year-old and 7-year-old was Life-Flighted to an nearby hospital and is stable condition. One of the four people on the third vessel was treated at the scene. No one else was injured.
Investigators are unsure how many people were on the first boat.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol asks that anyone with information on an approximately 20-inch, black and white ski boat with visible damage to contact local authorities.
