SAPULPA, Okla. - Highway patrol troopers say a Sapulpa girl has died from injuries she received in a car crash on Friday.
Investigators say the car with 4-year-old Temperance Aimsworth inside slowed down to turn from State Highway 33 onto 193rd East Avenue when it was hit from behind by a pickup just after 5 p.m. Friday.
Temperance and a 9-year-old passenger were transported to area hospitals where Temperance died just after 10 p.m. Saturday, officials say. The 9-year-old was admitted in stable condition.
The driver of the pickup was treated for minor injuries and released.
The driver of the car was not injured.
Temperance was the only person not wearing a seatbelt, trooper say.
