Bullying affects one out of every four U.S. children.
That statistic, by the American Justice Department, is one of many that reflects the truth impacting the nation's youth.
And it's a problem that continues to grow as ever improving technology creates even more ways to inflict pain on young victims.
About 35 percent of children have been threatened online, according to bullyingstatistics.org.
These issues are real.
