TULSA - When it comes to the Tulsa State Fair, it's all about the food.  Earlier this week, George Flickinger and myself, Deana Silk, spent the afternoon sampling some of our fair favorites.

We decided to ride the world's largest traveling roller coaster, Comet II, first.  Which, after all the food we ended up eating, this was probably the smartest idea of the day.

The roller coaster was great, much better than either of us was expecting.  Next stop, Fat balls... fried dough of some sort filled with bavarian cream (my favorite)!!!  I loved it, George on the other hand, not a big fan of the bavarian creme but he did love the dough.

From there we ventured to the Sky Ride for a birds eye view of the fair.  Perfect time for us to plan our next food stop.

Back on the ground we headed to the spiral spuds, George's favorite fair food.  We were given the largest plate of potatoes I think I've ever seen.  To make it even more unhealthy I dipped my spiral spuds in cheese! Why not, right?

To wash it all down we both decided to save a few calories and opt for a Diet Coke.

Next up, the much talked about Krispy Kreme Burger.  We were both very excited to give it a try since we had heard mixed reviews from other brave fair food testers.

One bite of the donut bacon cheese burger and I was hooked!  I loved it but limited myself to only 2 bites since the entire burger itself is 1,500 calories!!!  George liked it too and after finishing off half the burger we decided it was time to stop.

As we were about to leave I realized I hadn't found MY fair favorite, the good ole corndog.  After demolishing half of it we were both feeling a little guilty about the calories we had just consumed and called it a day.

Our visit to the 2010 Tulsa State Fair was a yummy one!
