TULSA - Racing fans, start your engines.
The Super Bowl of Sprint car racing, the 27th annual Chili Bowl Nationals, revs up in Tulsa Tuesday.
It's one of the larges Sprint car racing competitions in the nation.
Nearly 300 drivers entered the race this year, including NASCAR driver Tony Stewart, who says he enjoys fitting the races into his busy schedule.
"I set 40 (races) as a goal last year, and you know, if I can make 40 again this year I'd be happy," said Stewart. "I'm going to try for hopefully around 50 this year though so it's a pretty ambitious schedule."
Stewart is a two-time Chili Bowl champion.
Tickets for most of the event sold out months ago, though there are still tickets available for opening night. Call (918) 838-3777 or visit the Expo Square ticket box.
