TULSA -- Dozens of teams are firing up their grills for the 2013 Oklahoma Championship Steak Cook-off, happening now in downtown Tulsa.
The event includes a car and motorcycle show a “Grillin’ with Kids” competition. At 5:30 p.m., with the purchase of a ticket, locals can sample steak and sides from various competitors.
Organizers expect about 5,000 to show for the annual fundraiser.
OCSC is a 501c3 nor-for-profit corporation. Proceeds from the event go to benefit Our Garden Project, the Awesome Pretzel Project and Sensory Friendly Movies for Autism.
OCSC begins Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. and runs until 8 p.m. Concerts will be held throughout the day on the main stage at 6th Street and Cincinnati and on a second stage at 5th Street and Boston.
