OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Two Oklahoma City police officers are on paid administrative leave after they shot a man who pulled a weapon on them following a foot chase.

Officials say the officers were working at an off-duty program being held at a park in northeast Oklahoma City when the men ran away.

Capt. Dexter Nelson told The Oklahoman that as the man approached N.E. 17th Street, he allegedly turned on the officers with a gun and they fired. His name wasn't immediately released.

Nelson says the man is in good condition at a hospital.
